Eggs in a Box
Jim is spoiled!!  I slaved over the stove and made him breakfast this morning.  As a child, I loved it when my Mom would make us Eggs in a Box.  I find when I talk about these, that other people have different names....eggs in a blanket, eggs in a nest BUT none of them ever make sense to me.
Luke wanted to buy these the other day.  There was no way I could say no, because my Grandma would always bring these to us when she came to visit.  The box is much much smaller but they are still one of my favorite, and always remind me of my Grandma!!

I have been sick with the Flu, for 4 days.  I finally woke up today and felt great.  Great meaning, almost normal, whatever that is.  Anyway, I know how much my Cousin Clare would like me to Blog, so for some reason I decided to start.
During this week, this little guy, Rienow has been my Nurse.  Not really
, he actually has been a pain in the butt, but when he would snuggle up with me on the couch, it felt so comforting.

On a positive note....Luke went to the Kennedy Girls basketball game on Tuesday night.  He texted me and said "Mom, I won $300"  I was like "WHAT"  He bought 2 raffle tickets, for $1 a piece, and he was the first one selected to shoot a half court shot.  Guess what he made it!!  WooHoo!
I still wasn't feeling the greatest yesterday.  Connor comes home from school, and says "Mom, I have to make a 3d project of a Casino.
I asked him "Did you just find this out today and what would you like me to do?"  Of coarse, at 18 & a Senior, he knows everything, so I mentioned Legos.  Great idea Mom and off to work he goes.
Luke started the project, for him, and when Connor got off work he helped along with Harrison.  This morning Connor said it brought back so many memories, playing with legos, when he was younger.
Brought a big smile to my face.

So, even with the FLU wreaking havoc on me, there were so many bright spots in my week.
